Builders and remodelers need to understand accounting principles and job cost procedures and functions in order to properly manage their business. This course will provide the terminology and method foundation necessary to comprehend basic business reporting and job cost procedures, measurement and analysis. In addition, an introduction to the more common types of financing methods for new homes, construction loans and operating capital will be covered.
Strong is nationally recognized, award-winning builder, remodeler, speaker and industry expert. He recently relocated to the Bay Area to join Pankow Blue, a cutting edge NZE commercial builder, which will afford him the opportunity to completely round out his sustainability experience and credentials. As an industry speaker and mountain climber, Michael enjoys traveling the world and speaking at national conventions almost as much as he enjoys remodeling homes.
