You have invested a lot of time and resources developing your business (marketing, advertising, education and professional certifications). Now it’s time to put those resources to work, serving our nations disabled Veterans and Service-members. Home Builders, remodelers, renovators, CAPS graduates, architects, and health care professions (OT’s and Case Managers) will benefit from this course of instruction.

This course will illustrate the significant impact you can make in the lives of our most severely wounded, ill or injured Veterans and Servicemembers by introducing you to the mission of VA’s Housing Adaptation programs and its’ approach to Universal Design, i.e. VA Minimum Property Requirements (MPRs) and Recommended Adaptations (RAs) for new construction and home adaptation/remodeling projects. Administrative requirements will also be presented, including: VA Builder ID Application; Contract & Scope of Work; VA Contract Addendum; Plans & Specifications; Cost Estimates; and Description of Material. Essentially, this course will provide you with all the essential information you need to design and/or build a VA MPR compliant home or to remodel an existing home to meet VA Minimum Property Requirements.
