Dan and IPS have extensive experience in the homebuilding industry dating back to 2001 when Dan was the Senior Director of National Recruiting for MDC Holdings / Richmond American Homes. At MDC, Dan led a team of 21 recruiters and brought all active recruitment in-house and led the effort to source and hire leadership for all new homebuilding divisions and retail galleries across the US. During one year alone, Dan saved the company $10M in placement fees by bringing recruiting “in house.”
Prior to joining Innovative People Solutions in 2016, Dan spent 15 years in Corporate America leading and facilitating talent acquisition and executive search. Dan has held the senior most talent acquisition roles at MDC Holdings, Corporate Express, QBE, NCR, YP and CSM Bakery Solutions. Dan has consulted with companies in the energy, real estate, advertising, healthcare, construction, and manufacturing industries. In each industry and company, Dan led efforts to build the recruiting function, establish technology infrastructure, layout global processes, expand his teams, while also facilitating executive / leadership level search.
Dan has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and thoroughly enjoys being in positions that allow him to influence, drive change and enhance people’s lives and experiences.
