Green building is not a new concept to most of us, after all, it has been around since the beginning of time. However, as our new home envelopes have gotten tighter, we are in danger of poisoning the inhabitants with toxins and poor Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). This course expounds on the importance of building, and living in a good indoor air environment. The purpose of the course is to expound on the principles of building for good indoor air quality and the health of the occupants and will provide for a better understanding, by builders, of the impact materials, finishes and furnishings play on the overall quality of indoor air.
