Building a home in North Carolina can be a challenge. Between the current economic forces today, to meeting all the regulatory requirements, anyone can easily become frustrated. This course intends to help navigate the building process from start to finish with as few issues as possible. Designations: AB, AA, AR, ARS
Cliff Isaac is the Director of Codes and Construction for the North Carolina Home Builders Association. He brings a wealth of experience to this position having worked in the building industry and for the NC Department of Transportation and the NC Department of Insurance in several code-related positions.
Isaac holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer; a licensed General Contractor; a certified Level III NC Inspector in plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire and building trades and a licensed Certified Floodplain Manager.
