David Wolf, Ph.D.

Dr. Wolf has been researching air leakage in houses for the past five years, exploring both the fundamental and practical aspects of tightening the building enclosure. He has written on the subject in both trade and technical articles, presented on the subject at national conferences, and conducted one-on-one training with builders, contractors, and energy raters. Dr. Wolf is known for his ability to communicate complex subjects in a simple, engaging, easy to understand manner. His formal expertise is in the areas of heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics and building science. He holds seven U.S. patents, with seven pending. He has authored seven external technical papers and 15 internal technical papers.
