Marvin Strzyzewski

Marvin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Michigan Technological University. As a registered professional civil engineer licensed in North Carolina and 40 other States, Marvin has acquired a vast knowledge base from 30 years of experience in the wood industry.

He provides technical expertise for both quality control and new product development. Marvin is actively involved with the Truss Plate Institute and the Chairman of a TPI Project Committee for the development of a national design standard for the bracing of metal plate connected wood trusses. He is also an active member on the Structural Building Component Associations (SBCA) Technical Advisory Committee.

Marvin is an avid public speaker, representing MiTek USA and SBCA, and has spoken on a number of topics at home builder association meetings, building official associations and home Inspector associations.
