It wasn’t until my late 20’s that I found a creative outlet that evolved into a career. I knew (having heard my whole life) “if you love what you do then it won’t seem like work every day” so I set out in search of that one perfect thing that would embrace my competitive nature, knack for being able to talk to anyone (about anything), and my creative spirit . Growing up I must have rearranged my room weekly in search of the best function for the space constantly repainting and adding new décor. Being from the High Point, NC area (home of the famous Furniture Market) I had exposure to the trends shaping the design industry and behind the scenes access to understand how it all comes together. It’s that insight and exposure that lead me to pursue a degree in Interior Design.

The first impression given off by a well-designed space is HUGE. My passion is in understanding the needs and target demographic for a space while partnering with clients and allowing them to make the best first impression possible. Every project is different and the satisfaction comes from the collaboration process in taking an idea or sketch to installation.

I couldn’t be more thrilled that for over 10 years I been able to embrace my talents with Builders Design in various roles and now as a Regional VP of Sales. Communicating between designers and clients allows me to utilize my “gift of gab” so to speak while seeing a project through plays to my compulsive nature to plan ahead and be overly organized. Working for a company that understands passion, embraces creativity, and demands execution in every project makes me love what I do.

In my personal life, I’m passionate about spending quality time with my husband of 15 years and our two boys Miller and Hiatt creating moments. I love to travel when time allows
(especially to anywhere that has an ocean view), live music, running, and helping others through various charity work and mission trips.
